- This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to reserve.
- Infants of 4 years and younger do not pay.
- Children of 11 years and older pay as an adult.

Tour Plan
You will meet your tour guide outside Hotel Caribe, at Hidalgo Park in downtown Mérida.
On the way to Mérida’s main market, there will be a stop at the city’s main square, where you will receive a brief explanation about downtown Mérida.
You will arrive at the Lucas de Gálvez Market, where you will be introduced to local gastronomy while tasting seasonal fruits and some local ingredients. With the help of your guide and an ingredient list, you will also shop for the supplies needed to cook a traditional Yucatecan menu.
After the market tour, you and your guide will go to your host home by taking local transportation.
Your guide and host will teach you step by step how to prepare a three-course menu.
Once the table is set, you will sit down to enjoy the flavorful dishes you prepared with refreshing drinks.
Your guide will take care of your transportation back to downtown Mérida.
